Day 59 of 2025- Happy Last Day Of February

Day 58 of 2025- Minimizing Disruptions

Hi Friends,

One thing I'm working on is minimizing disruptions in my daily routine. I love my morning coffee, hitting the gym, and having time to myself, especially waking up super early. Connecting with myself each morning is important, so I make an effort to reduce any disruptions the night before to ensure my mornings start off well. This often means saying no to very late nights on weekends, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Day 57 of 2025- Stretch

Hi Friends,

One thing I've found beneficial is incorporating some stretching after long periods of sitting at my desk. Even a simple stretch, like the child's pose, can make a significant difference.

If, like me, you spend many hours seated at your desk, I encourage you to take regular breaks to walk around and stretch. This practice not only helps alleviate any discomfort but also rejuvenates your body and mind.

Day 56 of 2025-Boketto

 Hi Friends,

Today, I came across a new word-Boketto (Japanese)-which means "the act of gazing vacantly into the distance without a thought."

What an interesting concept! I've often found myself doing this during work, although it's hard not to have any thoughts. I think it would be great to practice gazing into the distance without a thought. I'll definitely keep practicing it. It reminds me of meditation in a way, offering a momentary escape from the daily hustle and providing a space to simply be.

I want to remind you to truly disconnect once your workday ends. Working from home can blur the lines between personal and professional time, making it tempting to keep checking emails or extending your work hours. It’s crucial to establish a clear boundary and discipline yourself to step away when the day is done.

I’ve learned this lesson myself—now, when I finish my tasks, I don’t check my email again until the next morning. Let’s strive to be completely done with work at the end of the day.

Hi Friends,

I often catch myself complaining about how much I dislike the cold weather, especially when the temperatures are well below average. Recently, we've been experiencing some of the coldest weather ever.

Then I asked myself, "Why?" Why complain about something I can't change? If Mother Nature decides it's going to be 20 degrees Fahrenheit, so be it. What can I do? Nothing.

Think about all the things you complain about. Can you change them? If not, then let them go and enjoy your day. Just like I'm going to start enjoying the cold.

I've recently realized that I waste a significant amount of time scrolling through social media during work breaks, and today, I finally reached my breaking point—I just had to put my phone down. It seems like the same content keeps cycling through my feed, and I've grown incredibly tired of it. If you haven't experienced this sense of social media fatigue, I highly recommend taking intentional breaks during work and setting strict limits on your social media usage.

While I do spend a few minutes each day catching up on current events and news, I find that social media often just leaves me feeling more bored rather than engaged or informed.
