Day 120 of 2025- Wednesday's Reflection

 Hi Friends,

Oh, how I love the middle of the week. It is not the start full of pressure and it is not quite Friday yet. It is this quiet space in between, a moment to look ahead with excitement to the weekend.

And speaking of looking ahead, sometimes life surprises you, especially when people reveal who they truly are and it is not at all what you expected. In those moments, the best thing you can do is smile. Smile because now you know. Smile because truth, even when unexpected, is a gift.

Everything is a gift so smile always.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 119 of 2025- Smiling Today

 Hi Friends,

Are you smiling this morning? I am!

This week, I'm making it a point to focus more on smiling and I hope you will too. If you're not already smiling, think of something good: a happy memory, a funny moment, or someone you love. It doesn’t take much to turn a moment around.

As Charles Gordy once said, "A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks."

So, my friends, if you’re not in the mood to dress up or put on makeup, no worries  a smile is all the "dress and makeup" you’ll ever need.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 118 of 2025- Monday Smiley

 Hi Friends,

Here’s a quote I came up with to start the week:

"Monday is too important to approach with a straight face."

As we kick off the week, remember even if you’re not feeling like smiling this morning, I encourage you to look in the mirror and give yourself a big smile. Let’s set the tone and not let Monday get the best of us!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 117 of 2025-Sunday Quote

 Hi Friends,

"Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week." — Joseph Addison

Sundays are a natural pause, a day when we can shake off the stress, fatigue, and busyness that build up throughout the week. Sunday offers us a chance to renew ourselves: to rest, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.

It's a day to breathe deeper, laugh louder, and move slower and to let gratitude, peace, and intention replace the noise of everyday life. Honor Sunday as a time of restoration.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 116 of 2025- Dinner Decisions

 Hi Friends,

We can all use help every single day, and when it comes to making decisions, like what to have for dinner, I try to just go with the first thing that comes to mind. Sometimes we overthink the little things, and for me, after a long day at work, dinner is the one thing I don’t want to stress about. So whatever comes to mind first, that’s what’s for dinner, no second-guessing, no pressure.

It’s okay to give ourselves permission to go easy on the small ones.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 115 of 2025-Just Notice

Hi Friends,

Today, I found myself in a difficult situation while in a room with others. I was talking to someone I know well, and our conversation touched on something that pulled me in two directions. My heart felt one thing, but my head was saying something else. I reacted on the inside, quietly, not really sure what I was feeling or thinking in that moment.

We’ve all had those moments, when your inner world feels a little messy, and you're caught between emotion and reason. It’s not always easy to make sense of it right away. But I’m learning that it’s okay to not have it all figured out. Sometimes just noticing what’s happening inside is the first step toward understanding yourself better.

The takeaway for me is this: when I give myself permission to pause and feel without judgment, I begin to connect more honestly with what’s really going on.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 114 of 2025- Evening Reset

 Hi Friends,

Don’t forget to create a little space between the end of your workday and the start of your evening routines. I like to walk around the house for a bit or catch up on the news before diving into any household tasks. It helps me pause, reset, and transition into the rest of the evening with a clearer mind.

What are some things you like to do to unwind after work?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 113 of 2025- Almost End Of April

 Hi Friends,

As we approach the end of April and settle into the heart of spring, at least in my part of the world, this is a gentle reminder to pause and reflect.

With just about a week left in the month, take a moment to check in with yourself. How has April been treating you so far? Is there anything you can do in the coming days to make the month feel a little more complete, whether that means finishing something important, reconnecting with someone, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down and breathe?

So whether you're wrapping things up or taking time to rest, be intentional with how you close out the month.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 112 of 2025-Rooted In What Matters

Hi Friends.

"What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."-Helen Keller

Tuesday often comes without the rush of a Monday or the energy of a Friday but that makes it the perfect day to reconnect with what grounds you.

Helen Keller’s words remind us that the joy, love, and purpose we've experienced don’t fade, they stay with us. They’re part of the fabric of who we are and how we move through the world.

Even if today feels routine or unremarkable, you carry the strength of every good thing you’ve experienced. The task you were proud to complete, it still lives inside you, guiding your choices and fueling your confidence.

Let this Tuesday be less about chasing something new and more about drawing strength from what already lives within you.

Keep going.

Day 111 of 2025- Monday's Quote

Hi Friends,

"Nothing is really ever lost to us as long as we remember it."-Lucy Maud Montgomery

As we step into a brand-new week, let’s carry with us a quiet but powerful reminder: "Nothing is really ever lost to us as long as we remember it."

Whether it’s a goal that slipped out of focus, a dream that feels distant, or even a moment that once inspired us remembering brings it back into the light. Memory is more than nostalgia; it’s a tool. It helps us reconnect with what matters, realign with our values, and reignite our motivation.

So if this Monday feels heavy or aimless, pause for a moment. Think about what once made you feel alive, focused, or proud. That energy isn’t lost, it’s just waiting to be remembered.

Your past passions and lessons are not gone, they are seeds that can still grow.

Have a great week!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 110 of 2025- Taking A Real Break

 Hi Friends,

For those who are on spring break or just had one, I hope it’s been a chance to relax and enjoy a slower pace.

My kids were off this week, and I loved watching them truly disconnect from school. They slept in, caught up with friends, played, and just gave themselves permission to rest. No schedules, no stress, just a week to be kids and recharge.

Honestly, they reminded me how powerful it is to fully unplug. Sometimes the best way to spend a break is by doing nothing “productive” at all, just being present and taking care of yourself.

It got me thinking, how do you like to disconnect during a break? What helps you feel refreshed and renewed?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 109 of 2025- Hectic Days

 Hi Friends,

As responsibilities at work and home continue to pile up, it can feel like there’s no end in sight. I’m having yet another one of those hectic days and an even busier-than-usual week.

In my previous post, I mentioned the importance of staying calm. We’ve all heard familiar encouragements like "Hang in there," "Just keep moving forward," and "You’ve got this." And I genuinely believe those words hold truth.

But today, I want to offer something a little different. I want you to consider this: how can you be a sculptor during these times?

Let me explain. Just like a sculptor chips away at the excess to reveal something meaningful, perhaps we can look at our overwhelming days not as endless chaos, but as an opportunity to shape our time, our focus, and our energy into something intentional and beautiful.

So, what’s one thing you can chip away at today to reveal a little more clarity or calm?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 108 of 2025- Keep Calm

 Hi Friends,

Standing in a long line at the DMV is never fun, but today’s key reminder is to keep calm. With work, kids, and the DMV all running on different schedules, staying calm truly makes a difference.

As you go through your day and life with everything happening around you, remember this simple mantra: Keep calm. Keep repeating it in your mind. It works.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 107 of 2025-A Busy Day

 Hi Friends,

One of the best things about being busy whether at work or at home, is figuring out how to keep things simple. I call it my “one-thing-at-a-time” mindset.

My kids are on spring break this week, and today was one of those days: work, a plumber at the house, a dentist appointment, and back-to-back meetings. I was honestly going a little crazy. Somewhere in the middle of all that, while trying to make lunch, I had to pause and ask myself, What’s the one thing I need to do right now?

If it was taking 15 minutes to get lunch ready, I did that. If it was spending 20 minutes to finish up a work task, I did that too then went back to cooking.

The reminder I kept coming back to was simple: just do the next thing that matters. And that’s how I kept my sanity by focusing on one thing at a time.

Hope this mindset helps you to.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 106 of 2025-One Simple Thing

 Hi Friends,

As you may have noticed, I’ve been writing a lot about simplicity lately. I just love the word simple.

This morning, I went on a long walk, and I couldn’t help but think about how truly simple life can be. I listened to the birds chirping, breathed in the fresh morning air and wow, did it feel good.

So, here’s a little invitation: can you pick one simple thing to notice today?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 105 of 2025-Mid Month April Check In

Hi Friends,

We’re halfway through April and its time to pause, check in, and ask: What’s working? What’s not? And most importantly, where can I keep things simpler?

Mid-month is a great time to recalibrate. You don’t need to overhaul everything, just reflect and make a few small shifts. Simplicity often starts with letting go of the nonessential.

Here are a few gentle prompts for your mid-month reflection:

  • One thing I can let go of this month is…

  • One area I can simplify (work, schedule, home, mindset)…

  • One thing that’s already going well…

Remember, simple doesn’t mean boring or lazy—it means focused, clear, and aligned with what truly matters.

So as you move into the second half of the month, try this mantra: Less noise, more intention.

How will you keep it simple from here on out?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 104 of 2025- Keeping It Simple-Professional Life

 Hi Friends

Simplicity at work doesn’t mean doing less, it means doing what matters, with more focus and less noise.

Here are a few ways to keep things simple in your professional life:

  • Clarify Your Goals – Start with clear, realistic goals. When you know what success looks like, it’s easier to filter out distractions and stay aligned with what actually moves the needle.

  • Streamline Your Workflow – Look for tasks you can automate, delegate, or eliminate. Use tools that help not complicate. Simplicity often comes from working smarter, not harder.

  • Protect Your Time – Not every meeting needs to be attended. Not every task needs to be urgent. Block time for focused work and build in moments to recharge.

Keeping it simple professionally means focusing on impact over busyness.

Where can you create more simplicity at work this week?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 103 of 2025-Keeping It Simple- Personal Life

Hi Friends,

In life, simplicity can be a powerful way to create more peace and clarity. Today, lets take a look on  organizing your space and managing your time.

  • Organizing – Start small. Clear one drawer, one shelf, or one inbox folder. Instead of aiming for perfection, aim for progress. Simple systems work best because they’re easier to maintain.

  • Managing Your Time – When everything feels important, nothing truly is. Take a moment to identify your top three priorities right now. Let those guide your choices, your energy, and even what you say “no” to.

Keeping it simple means creating space for what matters most.

Where in your personal life can you simplify today?

Day 102 of 2025-Keep it simple

 Hi Friends,

I like the idea of keeping things simple in life. For example, if you’re hosting, you can keep the appetizers easy and straightforward, then go the extra mile for the main course.

If you think about how you can apply the “keep it simple” concept, let’s explore a few ways to do that over the next 2–3 blog posts. For today, just reflect on one area of your life where you can simplify. What does “keeping it simple” mean to you?

Have a great Saturday!

Day 101 of 2025- Let it go, It's Friday

Hi Friends,

Not everything you carried this week needs to follow you into the weekend.

The missteps, the stress, the overthinking, lets leave it behind as we end the day.

Fridays are for release. Make room for fresh air, better thoughts, and lighter energy.

Let go. You’re allowed to.

Day 100 of 2025- 100 Day Reflection

 Hi Friends,

Here we are, 100 days into 2025! It's going by so quickly. I'm excited about what the rest of this year holds, and I hope you are too. We're now entering Quarter 2, so it’s a perfect time to plan out your quarter and map out the next 100 days.

To help guide your reflection and planning, here are four reflective questions to consider:

  • What accomplishments from the first 100 days of the year make you feel proud and energized?

  • What challenges or lessons from Quarter 1 can you leverage for growth in Quarter 2?

  • What are your key priorities or goals for the next 100 days, and why do they matter to you?

  • What daily habits or routines will you commit to that can significantly enhance your progress over the next quarter?

Reflect, recalibrate, and make the next 100 days count!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 99 of 2025- Cold Again?

 Hi Friends,

I stepped outside this morning and yep it was so cold.

Something about this time of year that can cause such mood changes. The air changes drastically, and suddenly my pace does too. I find myself not wanting to go to the gym or stepping out to get groceries.

If you're feeling that seasonal shift too, you're not alone. I’m leaning into it by grabbing my layers, drinking more tea, and giving myself a bit more grace.

Have a great day!

Take a breath. One deep one. Do just the next thing. Small wins are still wins.

And if things feel a little messy or overwhelming, that’s okay. Keep showing up.

Day 96 of 2025-Sunday Idea

 Hi Friends,

One of the best things about Sunday? You can stay in your pajamas guilt-free and savor your coffee without rushing. I love Sundays for exactly that—and yes, I savor every sip for as long as I can.

So this Sunday, and every week, give yourself permission to slow down. Do the things that bring you joy, without guilt. Savor the moments. You’ve earned them.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 95 of 2025- Sick Weekend

 Hi Friends,

No one enjoys getting sick, and unfortunately, I came down with the flu this morning. I rarely get sick, but when I do, it tends to knock me out for a few days.

If you're feeling under the weather too, be sure to give yourself time to rest and recover. Listen to what your body needs, take it easy, and stay hydrated.

Have a restful and healthy weekend!

Day 93 of 2025-Ending The Day With Something Fun

 Hi Friends,

What is one thing you can do to end this day on a fun note? Or perhaps you are starting your Friday and want to kick it off with something enjoyable.

For me, at the end of the day, I like to spend a few minutes with my dog, Milo. You might not have a pet, but perhaps there is someone else or something else you enjoy doing.

Whatever it is, go out and have fun!

Day 91 of 2025- Hello April

Hi Friends,

Happy April!

Here is a quote from William Shakespeare:

"April, dressed in all his trim, hath put a spirit of youth in everything."

William Shakespeare's quote describes April as if it's dressed up for a celebration, bringing a fresh, young energy to everything. It shows how spring revives the world, filling it with life and new chances, making it a time for growth and fresh starts.

What are your plans for this time of growth and fresh start?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
