Hi Friends,
Happy July. A new month is here, and with it comes another chance to enjoy the season we are in.
As July begins, take a moment to ask yourself:
What do I want this month to feel like?
What do I need more of in my life right now?
Where can I slow down and be more present?
What is one thing I can do for myself, my family, or my well-being this month?
A new month works like a small fresh start. It is easy to move from June into July without noticing, carrying the same habits and the same schedule. These questions interrupt that autopilot, and they only take a few minutes if you let the first answer be the honest one.
The first question is the most useful, because it asks about a feeling instead of a goal. "Relaxed" or "adventurous" or "connected" gives you a filter for decisions all month long. If you pick relaxed, you might say no to an extra commitment. If you pick adventurous, you might finally book that day trip. Choose one word and write it on a sticky note where you will see it.
The second question points to what is missing. Often it is simple: more sleep, more time outside, more laughter, more evenings with no plans. Notice the answer and pick one small way to add it in the next week, like a walk after dinner or one phone call with a friend.
For slowing down, summer helps. Longer daylight means you can take a quiet moment at the start or end of the day without feeling rushed. Eat one meal outside, leave the phone inside, and watch the light change. Being present is easier when you give yourself a setting.
Then pick one thing for yourself, your family, or your well-being. Keep it small enough to finish. A family game night, a weekly swim, or an earlier bedtime on weekdays will do more than a big plan that fades by the second week.
I hope you take some time to enjoy July. Take a vacation if you can. Go to the beach. Enjoy the sun. Spend time with loved ones. Make new friends. Laugh more. Rest when you need to. Create memories that remind you how beautiful life can be.
And most importantly, keep a positive outlook on life. Every month brings new opportunities, new lessons, and new moments to be grateful for.
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
