Day 186 of 2026- Add Some Fireworks to Your Life

 Hi Friends,

Tonight is the big Independence Day fireworks celebration. It is always exciting to see the sky fill with bright colors as families and friends gather to celebrate.

There is something special about watching a firework begin with one small spark and then suddenly light up the entire sky. For a few seconds, everyone stops what they are doing and looks up.

While the celebration is beautiful, colorful, and filled with people coming together, take a moment to think about how you can add some “fireworks” to your own life.

What makes you feel excited?

What gives you energy?

What is something you have been wanting to try but keep putting off?

Sometimes life begins to feel dull. We move through the same routines, handle the same responsibilities, and complete the same tasks each day. Before we realize it, we may feel as though some of our energy and excitement have disappeared.

If you are feeling low, dull, or tired, take time to notice what you can light within yourself. It does not need to begin as something big or dramatic. Even the largest fireworks begin with a tiny spark.

Your spark might be returning to something you once enjoyed. It could be reading, writing, painting, exercising, dancing, cooking, gardening, or spending time outside.

Maybe your spark is calling someone you miss, planning a small trip, applying for a new opportunity, or finally beginning a project that has been on your mind.

It may simply be deciding that tomorrow will be a little different from today.

We often wait for someone or something else to bring excitement into our lives. We wait for the perfect opportunity, the right person, more money, additional time, or a sudden burst of motivation.

But sometimes we have to create that spark for ourselves.

We have to pay attention to what makes us feel alive and then make room for more of it. That does not mean ignoring our responsibilities or expecting every day to feel exciting. It means remembering that our lives need moments of joy, curiosity, and hope too.

If you are not sure where to begin, ask yourself:

What is one small thing I could do today that would make me feel better?

What have I stopped doing that once brought me joy?

What part of myself needs more attention?

Do not pressure yourself to create a huge display overnight. One tiny spark is enough to begin.

Take one walk. Write one paragraph. Make one phone call. Listen to one song that lifts your mood. Choose one small action that helps you feel connected to yourself again.

That spark may not light up the entire sky today, but it can help you take the next small step.

You need to do it for you.

As you watch the fireworks tonight, enjoy the colors, the celebration, and the people around you. But also remember that you have your own light within you.

Find it. Protect it. Give it the attention it needs—and when you are ready, let it shine.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Peace

Monita
