A feed I came across for a Japanese saying stated that "Jigou jitoku" means "you get what you deserve."
What you get out of life is what you put in it. As I end the month of November and with the year almost over, I think about what seeds I want to plant to see the benefits. What acts of kindness and generosity am I giving this holiday season and will continue to do every day.
What am I giving back to life which has given me so much? Think about this reflection question as you go about your day. Every act of kindness counts and it does not need to be big. A smile or a hello can brighten someone's day.
Jigou jitoku is a good motto to keep in mind today and everyday.
