Day 59 of 2023-Last Day of February

 February is such a short month. It does go by really fast. Write down things that you are grateful for that happened this month. What are some of your accomplishments? Did you prioritize self care ? Did you practice kindness and patience? 

Accomplishments does not necessary mean big things but its the little things that count. Be proud of all that you have done this month. You are here now and ready to take on March. Reflect on all the lessons learn and all that you did. Give yourself a hug and remind yourself of just how proud you are of you. 

Its okay to reflect on yourself and all that you did. Give thanks and get ready for what's next.

Day 58 of 2023-Turn your negative thoughts

 Hey Friends! How did your Monday go? What are some of the things that you noticed? As we end the day, think about the positive things that happen. That may be impossible if something really drastic has happened, but assuming it was more or less a normal Monday, what are the good things that you experience today?

I have been thinking a lot about being and feeling positive so if you have had some negative thoughts, how can you turn it around to think something positive? Reflect and write on it if you can.

Day 57 of 2023-More positive thought

To continue on with my post from yesterday, I came across this quote today:

So my one positive thought for today is to believe that I can. A lot of times, that is truly half the battle. We can all this so if you are feeling down or unmotivated, know that I believe that you can and hope that you believe in yourself as well.

Day 56 of 2023-One thought

 I have come to realize that if I want to change my whole day, I can focus on just positive thought. Sometimes our minds tend to focus on the things that went wrong, or who upset us but if we can find one thought that is positive, it can improve my whole day and make me feel a lot better. 

Thinking about the things that I have like my family, the person who smiled and said hello, or the one that was helpful at work can change my day. I also think how phrases like this to shall pass, I am strong, confident, brave and I know that I will achieve what I want to, I have got this all help change the way I feel which helps to change the day. 

So for the weekend and going forward, think one thought that will help you get through the day. One small positive thought. What would that be for you? Reflect and write it down.

Day 53 of 2023-Find quiet time

Mid week is always such a busy time but you are also looking forward to the weekend. Find some quiet time to sit and be with yourself even if it is just for a few minutes and focus on your breathing. I am usually up early in the mornings and like to just focus on my breathe before the day begins. Sometimes its just for a couple of mins or sometimes not even a minute but I try to bring to doing a few deep breathes. 

There is so much going on and just being with me in the mornings gives me a sense of security that all is is well right at this moment and now is the only time I have. 

If you can't find quiet time in the mornings, then find the time in the afternoon or evenings. It does not need to be long, just a few minutes will do or how ever long you can spare.

As the week progresses, find ways to be creative to give yourself a break from the chaos. It can get really hectic with work and life and finding a few mins to do something that expresses your creative process gives your brain a break and you can come to what you are doing feeling a lot less stressed.

Whether its drawing, coloring, writing, singing, gardening, create something that you like. You will certainly feel free.

Day 50 of 2023-50 days of 2023

 We are 50 days in already into 2023. With just 315 days left in the year, what are we going to accomplish? The 50 days that past will never come back but we still have 315 days left. What are we going to do with our time for the remainder of this year?

I can tell you that a lot of times we think that 315 is still a long time to go and it is but remember that it will pass in a blink of an eye. It will go by very fast and before we know it another year is behind us. Remember your intentions and goals and don't let this time slip away. Use it well for the things you set out to do and to live a great year. You can do this. 

Also remember to be grateful for all that is gone in the last 50 days and all that you have learned. Enjoy the days.

Day 48 of 2023-We are here at the end of the week

 Hey Friends! So what is the plan for the weekend. Its Friday and you worked hard all week. Time to chill and take it easy.

So the motto for me is to take it easy. I know that I need to chill and take it easy. My stress levels this week was really high therefore I know that my body need to recover from all of the stress this week.

What does taking it easy mean for you? For me its getting extra sleep, exercising, reading and meditating. Reflect and see what does taking it easy look like for you.

It's a great quote amongst many by Abraham Lincoln. A lot of us might feel like giving up on our resolutions or to give up. Imagine that you are achieving your goals and stay with it for as long as it takes. Keep starting over if you must but don't give up on you.

Day 44 of 2023- Oh Monday is here again!

 Oh Mondays! I can be a good day if you need it to be. Sometimes we all need a little push to get through the week or day. I for one needed that little extra push to get through the day. There were so many things that came up and I almost lost motivation and needed that push to get through it. 

We all have days like this and Monday can be especially hard and a lot of times we need that push of motivation to get through the day.

Tuesday is generally when things are a lot more busier for me and the meetings are non stop. On Tuesday try to focus on one thing at a time.
