Hi Friends,
Today at work, I watched leaders struggle to make a decision even though the information was already there. The data had been gathered, the options were clear, and the decision had been sitting for almost a month.
I understand the need to be informed. Good decisions should be thoughtful, and leaders should not move forward blindly. But there is a point where needing more information becomes hiding behind information.
Indecision has a cost. It slows people down, creates confusion, and leaves teams waiting for direction. At some point, leadership requires more than analysis.
A delayed decision is still a decision. And sometimes, waiting too long does more damage than making the imperfect choice.
Have you witnessed that at work? What are your thoughts?
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
