Well, we made it to the last day to 2021. Here we are enjoying the last few hours before we ring in 2022. One thing for sure is that I am really proud of writing for the last 365 days! I made a promise at the start of the year to write every single day and I kept it.
There were so many days where I struggled to write but when I got in front to my page, I just wrote whatever came to my mind. The length never mattered to me and for me even if it was just one sentence, that was enough.
I am really proud of myself that I did it. The first step is always the hardest but you just have to take the first step.
Reflect on all you accomplish this year and be proud of yourself. Today is not the day to be hard on yourself but to just give yourself a hug, a pat on the back, a high five and say "I did it", because you did.
The year has not been easy on us but now we can take the memories, lessons learned and all the accomplishments and move forward to ring in the new year.
Here are some quotes I love to reflect on for today:
"Last year's words belong to last year's language. And next year's words await another voice."- T.S Eliot
"Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us."- Hal Borland
“As the year comes to a close, it is a time for reflection – a time to release old thoughts and beliefs and forgive old hurts. Whatever has happened in the past year, the New Year brings fresh beginnings. Exciting new experiences and relationships await. Let us be thankful for the blessings of the past and the promise of the future.”-Peggy Toney Horton
“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one.”-Brad Paisley
Wishing you all a great New Years Eve!! Enjoy, party, relax, reflect and take deep breathes!
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
