Day 246 of 2026- First Hump Day Of September

 Hi Friends,

Well, that didn't take long. Two days into September and we're already smack in the middle of the week,  hump day, right on schedule.

There's something almost funny about it. We just talked about this huge blank canvas, thirty wide-open days ahead of us, and here comes Wednesday reminding us that life doesn't actually pause for big fresh starts. The emails still pile up, the laundry's still there, and the calendar's still full.

But hump day gets a bad reputation it doesn't totally deserve. Yes, you're tired. Yes, the weekend feels far away, and Monday feels like it happened a long time ago. But you're also over the hump. You've made it through the hardest part of the week, the part where you're still shaking off the weekend and finding your rhythm. From here, it's downhill.

So maybe today isn't about big plans or bold goals. Maybe it's just about getting through, and getting through well.

Two days into your blank canvas, and it's okay if today's brushstroke is just a small, steady line to get you to Thursday.

You've got this. Halfway there.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Peace

Day 245 of 2026- Happy September, A Blank Canvas

 Hi Friends,

Here we are. September 1st, and just like that, we've got 30 fresh days stretched out in front of us like a blank canvas.

No mistakes on it yet, no missed days, no "I'll start Monday." Just wide open space and a paintbrush in your hand.

So, what are you thinking about painting on it?

Maybe it's a trip you've been dreaming about since spring. Maybe it's finally carving out real time with your family instead of just being in the same room while everyone stares at a screen. Maybe it's a personal goal you keep circling but haven't committed to. Or maybe, honestly, it's just permission to slow down and take care of yourself for once.

Whatever it is, September has a way of feeling like a reset button. The energy shifts. Kids go back to school, the air starts to change, and there's this quiet sense of "okay, let's go" in the background.

If you're staring at that blank canvas with no idea where to start, here are a few questions to help you find your first brushstroke:

  • What's one thing you'd love to look back on come October 1st and say, "I actually did that"?
  • Who do you want to spend more real, present time with this month?
  • What's been sitting on your "someday" list that could actually become a "this month" thing?
  • Where in your life could you use a little more rest, or a little more adventure?
  • What's one small habit you could start now that future-you will thank you for?

You don't need the whole month planned out. You just need one color to start with.

So go ahead, pick up the brush. September's waiting.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Peace
