Day 117 of 2021-Mental picture

 Good Morning! How are you feeling today? I made it to the gym this morning which is quite surprising since I woke up late and was extremely tired. But I feel great and always do when I go the gym.

So what's happening this morning? Lots I am sure. So much going on in the world and at your homes right? Don't you at times feel like just running away from it all for a few days to relax? I know I have had times where I just want to escape and when I feel that way, I imagine being at a beach with my feet in the sand, feeling and hearing the waves. Its such a soothing mental break.

Where is the one place that you go mentally that just makes you smile? Maybe its not a place, but seeing a person, reading or some other hobby.

For me its always picturing the beach. It just takes away the day stresses and helps me relax. Of course, I would love to just stay at the beach but since that's not an option, I can just picture it and that makes me smile. 

Looking, kissing and hugging my kids are the best option but the beach works and is accessible to me right away. What mental picture can you access that puts a smile and releases the stress feelings right away? 

Hope you give it some thought and notice how it makes you feel in the moment.
