Good Wednesday morning friends! How is your short week so far? For those of you who had Monday off, I am sure the week is going by fast. I was all confused yesterday thinking it was Monday until my daughter me and kept saying no its Tuesday!
So what a busy start to the week. I have not been to the gym for the last 3 days and feel like I am still catching up on sleep from the long weekend. I did not realize how exhausted I was till the last couple of nights.
I have been sleeping in and just letting my body rest. So on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most exhausted, how would you rate yourself? I am definitely a 10.
If you are rated higher than 7, what steps can you take to let your body rest and heal? Are you able to go to bed earlier today or sleep in tomorrow morning. Its so important that we let out bodies recover especially after a few days of no rest and not good sleep.
I like the idea of using a scale to rate my exhaustion or other areas or feeling that I am experiencing. It forces me to actually take action to bring the number on the scale down. I don't like feeling so exhausted so it is actually going to take a couple of days to recover.
Well, the intention is to be aware of the exhaustion and to give yourself the time to rest and that is what I intend to do tonight as well. Hopefully by tomorrow, I will be able to rate my exhaustion a lot lower.
