After a 3-day weekend, it’s much harder to get back to work. Here are some tips that help me:

Start Small – I ease into the day by tackling a simple task first. It helps me build momentum without feeling overwhelmed.

Make a To-Do List – Writing down what I need to get done makes everything feel more manageable and crossing things off feels like a win.

Don’t Skip Breaks – It’s tempting to power through, but short breaks actually help me stay focused longer.

Limit Distractions – I turn off unnecessary notifications and give myself blocks of time to focus without interruptions.

Stay Positive – I remind myself it’s normal to feel a little off after a long weekend. A good playlist, a cup of tea, and a deep breath go a long way.
Getting back into the groove isn’t always easy, but a little structure and self-compassion help make the transition smoother.
