Day 181 of 2025-It's Monday But Your Yes Weekend Is Cheering You On

 Hi Friends,

Sure, the emails are back. The calendar’s full. The coffee’s working overtime. But somewhere inside, I hope your Yes Weekend self is still lounging in the sunshine, taking the long way home, or saying yes to one more slice of cake.

Don’t forget them.

Take a little piece of that yes into your Monday:

✅ Yes to a five-minute break just because.
✅ Yes to a real lunch not just the desk snack raid.
✅ Yes to that playlist, podcast, or tiny ritual that makes work feel lighter.

Why it matters:
Mondays don’t have to be all hustle and grind. When you bring a bit of your Yes Weekend spirit into the work week, you remind yourself that you’re more than your to-do list you’re a person who needs joy, calm, and room to breathe, too.

So here’s to your Monday: productive and a little playful.
You’ve got this, Yes Weekend memories and all.

Happy Monday now go do great things (and maybe daydream about next weekend, too).

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 180 of 2025- Sunday Is Still Part Of Yes Weekend

 Hi Friends,

Sundays can so easily slip into a day of prepping for Monday. But what if you kept saying yes all the way to the end?

A Yes Sunday is about savoring what restores you, grounds you, and fills you up before the week begins. It’s your reminder that rest, joy, and presence matter just as much today as they did on Friday.

Try this today:

✅ Yes to a slow, mindful morning coffee, music, or a good book.
✅ Yes to a walk outside, noticing what you’d usually rush past.
✅ Yes to calling someone you miss, or spending time with people who lift you up.
✅ Yes to unplugging early tonight and letting tomorrow wait for tomorrow.

Why it matters:
Saying yes to what nourishes you on Sunday helps you step into the week ahead with more energy, clarity, and calm. It’s how you remind yourself that your well-being isn’t an afterthought it’s the foundation.

So breathe it in: this Sunday is still yours. Keep it part of your Yes Weekend.
Say yes to what you need most peace, play, or just permission to be still.

Happy Sunday. Happy Yes Weekend. You’ve earned it.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 179 of 2025- Its' Saturday

 Hi Friends,

Friday might have kicked things off, but Saturday is where your Yes Weekend really comes to life.

Say yes to the moments you’d normally brush aside for errands and endless to-do lists. Give yourself permission to lean into what feels good, fun, or freeing today.

Here’s how you can start:

✅ Yes to a lazy morning with no guilt.
✅ Yes to exploring somewhere new even if it’s just your own neighborhood.
✅ Yes to unplugging and just being, without a plan.

Why it matters:
Saying yes to what lights you up is how you refuel, reconnect, and remember what makes you feel most like you. It’s not selfish it’s necessary.

So today, make your Saturday count: do what brings you joy, peace, or a spark of curiosity.

You don’t need a big getaway just one small yes can shift everything.

Here’s to your Saturday. Here’s to your Yes Weekend. Enjoy it!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 178 of 2025- Yes Weekend

 Hi Friends,

It’s Friday, the week’s winding down, but what if you kicked off the weekend with something different? What if you gave yourself a Yes Weekend?

A Yes Weekend is about saying yes to the little things that bring you joy, curiosity, or peace the things you usually push aside for “later.”

Start today:

  • Yes to taking the long, scenic route home.

  • Yes to trying that new recipe or random creative project.

  • Yes to unplugging for a few hours and just being.

Why it matters:
Saying yes to what lights you up isn’t selfish it’s how you recharge, reconnect, and grow. When you give yourself room to explore joy, rest, and spontaneity, you build a deeper sense of alignment with who you really are.

So this weekend, give yourself permission to say yes to what feels fun, fulfilling, or freeing.

You don’t need a vacation to feel renewed. Sometimes, all it takes is one yes.

Have a great weekend!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 177 of 2025- 5 Hour Rule

 Hi Friends,

We all want to grow be more focused, confident, and fulfilled. But between work, family, and the endless to-do list, personal development often gets pushed aside.

Enter the 5-Hour Rule, a concept coined by entrepreneur and author Michael Simmons.

It’s simple: Spend one hour a day, five days a week intentionally learning or reflecting. Not just working harder—but thinking smarter. This hour could be spent reading, journaling, listening to a powerful podcast, or practicing a skill that pushes you outside your comfort zone.

High achievers like Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, and Barack Obama embrace this principle not because they have more time, but because they prioritize growth.

Why it matters:
One hour a day adds up to over 250 hours a year, time focused entirely on becoming the next, better version of yourself.

Try it this week:
Carve out 60 minutes for yourself. Read that book on your shelf. Reflect in a journal. Practice mindfulness. Learn something that excites you.

Have a great Thursday!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 176 of 2025- Early Starts And Hot Days

 Hi Friends,

I love being outdoors this time of year. Summer where I am means long days, bright skies, and the kind of energy that makes you want to move. But with the current heat wave, it’s a whole different story. The temperatures climb fast, and by mid-morning, even stepping outside feels like stepping into an oven.

As a result, I’ve had to be more strategic. If I want to get in a walk or run, I need to be out the door by 5:30 a.m. Anything later just feels impossible. It’s early, yes, but the air is cooler, the streets are quieter, and it feels like I’m stealing a moment of peace before the day really begins.

The heat wave is a reminder that our routines need to flex with the weather. Being strategic, staying hydrated, and protecting ourselves from the sun can make all the difference and help us keep doing what we love, even in the heat.

Have a great day!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 175 of 2025-Living Fully Head On

 Hi Friends,

As a follow-up to yesterday’s post, I want to go a little deeper into something I’ve been reflecting on: the power of experiencing life head-on.

We’re not meant to just move through life. We’re meant to experience it. And not just the shiny, celebratory moments. I’m talking about the messy, confusing, breathtaking, heartbreaking, ordinary moments too.

When we let ourselves feel an experience fully without numbing, rushing, or overthinking we give ourselves the gift of presence. We connect more deeply to ourselves and to life.

Pain has something to teach. So does joy. Even boredom has a voice if we slow down enough to listen. Every experience is part of your becoming.

So the invitation is simple but not always easy:
Feel it. Live it. Don’t just survive it. Experience it.

That’s where the real growth lives.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 174 of 2025- Fully and Roughly

Hi Friends,

Today I came across a quote that really struck a chord with me:
“The mystery of life is not a problem to be solved; it is a reality to be experienced.”~ J.J. van der Leeuw

It reminded me of something I deeply believe that life isn’t something we’re supposed to figure out like a puzzle. It’s something we’re meant to dive into, heart first. Not halfway, not just knee-deep, but all the way in.

Too often, we try to keep life neat, controlled, or boxed up in some kind of fancy packaging. But life isn’t meant to be perfect. It’s meant to be messy, raw, unpredictable, and fully felt.

Every joy, every struggle, every ordinary moment it’s all part of the experience. So let’s stop trying to solve life and start living it. Rough edges and all.

Stay curious, stay bold.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 173 of 2025- The Quiet Shift

 Hi Friends,

Sundays are strange. They start slow soft light maybe warm coffee and for a moment, the world feels still.

But as the hours pass, something shifts. You start to feel the weight of tomorrow creeping in. The undone to-do lists, the early alarms, the mental switch back to “go mode.” It’s not always anxiety, but it’s not peace either. It’s somewhere in the middle.

Some call it the “Sunday scaries.” Others just feel... off. Like you're caught between wanting to make the most of your day and wanting to avoid the pressure of productivity altogether.

But maybe the Sunday vibe isn’t about doing more. Maybe it’s about doing less, intentionally. Letting Sunday be the buffer between the week that was and the week that’s coming. A moment to check in with yourself, not your schedule.

So if today feels a little weird, a little quiet, a little heavy that’s okay. Breathe into it. Take it slow. Sunday doesn’t need a plan. It just needs presence.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 172 of 2025- Weekend Vibe Exploration

 Hi Friends,

What is the weekend vibe? Is it happy, tired, no mood, or just nothing?

Maybe it's a mix of all of them.

For some, the weekend brings joy finally, a chance to rest, to laugh a little louder, sleep a little longer, and be more present. It's brunch with friends, spontaneous road trips, or just binge-watching a favorite show with no guilt. It feels like freedom, even if it's brief.

For others, it's exhaustion catching up. The tiredness doesn't go away just because it's Saturday. Instead, it settles in deeper. You might feel too drained to do the things you love. So you scroll. You nap. You stare at the wall wondering where the energy went.

And sometimes, the weekend vibe is just… flat. Not sad, not happy just neutral. A foggy in-between. You’re not sure what you want, and even if you do, motivation doesn’t always follow. And that’s okay too.

Weekend vibes aren’t always loud or exciting. Sometimes they whisper, “just be.” Maybe that’s the whole point to let yourself feel whatever comes, without trying to shape it into something else.

So what’s your weekend vibe? Whatever it is own it, honor it, and let it be enough.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 170 of 2025- Be Satisfied

 Hi Friends,

We’ve all probably heard about the importance of mindset and how it can truly shape or break our outlook and our day.

I’d also add that being satisfied with what you have, even if it’s not exactly what you want right now, is a powerful starting point. Satisfaction doesn’t mean settling; it means acknowledging the value of where you are while still holding space for where you want to go. That shift in mindset can make all the difference in how you approach each day with peace, motivation, and clarity.

Have a great Thursday!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 169 of 2025- Digital Weather Patterns

 Hi Friends,

It just rained so heavily and a few minutes later, the sun is out. The weather is unpredictable like some people I work with. I have someone who I work with closely that for some reason has a habit of typing her team messages in all CAPS when it's not urgent, in my opinion. Typing all CAPS has a different connotation for me.

To me, ALL CAPS means urgency, maybe even panic. It's the digital equivalent of shouting across a crowded room. When I see those block letters filling my screen for routine updates or casual questions, my stress levels spike unnecessarily.

It's fascinating how we all bring our own interpretations to these small digital habits. What feels normal to her feels alarming to me. Maybe it's generational, maybe it's personal preference, or maybe she just really likes her caps lock key. Either way, I'm learning to adjust my internal weather forecast accordingly.

The takeaway? Pay attention to the digital weather patterns of people around you. And sometimes, the best response is no response if you can help it.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 168 of 2025- Take Back Your Week

 Hi Friends,

Pull out your calendar right now and ask yourself: what are the three most important things I need to accomplish before Friday? Write them down, block time for them, and suddenly you've transformed from reactive to proactive.

Tuesday morning hits different when Monday didn't go as planned, maybe you started the week scattered, maybe urgent tasks hijacked your schedule, or maybe you're just realizing you need to get intentional about the days ahead. But here's what I've learned: the most successful people aren't the ones who never have chaotic Mondays, they're the ones who know how to course-correct quickly.

Those three priorities you just wrote down? They're your roadmap back to feeling accomplished and focused. By Friday, you'll look back at this Tuesday morning as the moment you decided to take charge of your week instead of letting it happen to you.

Have a great one!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 167 of 2025- Embracing Monday

 Hi Friends,

We all have different reasons to love or not like Mondays. Some people dread it and I used to be that way. Now I actually don't mind it. I love starting a new week and look forward to what it is going to bring. The shift happened when I realized that Mondays aren't the enemy they're possibilities.

Instead of mourning the weekend's end, I've learned to embrace Monday's energy as fuel for the week ahead. Sure, some Mondays will be tougher than others, but each one carries the potential for growth, and small victories that make it worthwhile.

Your relationship with Monday is entirely up to you and trust me, when you decide to see it as an opportunity rather than an obstacle, everything changes.

Have a great week ahead!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 166 of 2025- Midmonth Reflection

 Hi Friends,

Happy Sunday and happy mid-June! Here we are, two weeks into June, and I hope your month is going well so far.

Take some time today to reflect on what's going well. Some questions you might consider:

How am I feeling since the month started?

What's been on my mind that's keeping me stuck or preventing me from moving forward?

What do I need to improve on?

What am I grateful for?

Taking time to reflect helps you stay on track and become more aware of what's happening in your life.

Enjoy your day off and remember to smile.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 165 of 2025- A Life Affirming Message From Dickens

 Hi Friends,

Almost daily I come across some sort of quote or positive affirmation. Today while browsing the internet I came across this:

"I have been bent and broken, but — I hope — into a better shape." - Charles Dickens.

This quote resonates deeply because it captures something we all understand but rarely articulate so elegantly. Life has a way of testing us, sometimes breaking us down completely, yet there's profound wisdom in recognizing that our struggles don't just damage us, they can reshape us into something stronger and more compassionate. Dickens himself knew hardship intimately, from his childhood working in a factory to his later financial struggles, and perhaps that's why his words carry such authenticity.

It's a reminder that resilience isn't about bouncing back unchanged, but about allowing our experiences to mold us into people with greater depth.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 164 of 2025- Friday Gratitude

Hi Friends,

Happy Friday!

We all need to hear that we are doing great, many thank you's and genuine words of encouragement to fuel our spirits. In a world that often focuses on what's wrong or what needs fixing, it's revolutionary to pause and acknowledge the good we're already doing.

So here's your reminder: you're doing better than you think, you're stronger than you know, and you're exactly where you need to be right now. I believe in you, and although I do not know you, I want to say you are doing great and thank you for all the ways you show up in this world.

Take a moment this Friday to celebrate the small victories, appreciate how far you've come, and carry that positive energy into the weekend ahead.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 163 of 2025- Thursday's Wisdom

 Hi Friends,

I came across this great quote:

"The best work ethic requires a good rest ethic".-Kevin Kelly

I used to think being productive meant grinding 24/7, but I've learned that's completely backwards. The hardest workers I know are also the best at resting, they sleep well, take real breaks, and actually disconnect when they're off.

It turns out that pushing yourself without recovery just leads to burnout and crappy work. When you're intentional about both working hard and resting well, you get this compound effect where you can sustain high performance instead of burning out every few months. Rest isn't lazy, it's strategic.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 162 of 2025- The Quiet Power Of Wednesday

 Hi Friends,

Wednesdays are the unsung heroes of the week. No Monday pressure, no Friday excitement, just the steady middle ground where actual work gets done. It's the day when you remember why you like your job, or maybe why you don't, when problems feel solvable, and when everything just flows a little easier.

There's something reassuring about Wednesday's position. It feels closer to the weekend, so I hope you're feeling a little less stressed than you were at the beginning of the week. But here's the thing, the week isn't over yet, and you still have things to complete.

To help you sail smoothly into Friday, take a moment to think about your most challenging tasks or meetings ahead. What can you prepare for in advance? Maybe it's reviewing notes for your next presentation, or simply clearing your desk so Friday morning feels less chaotic.

So use this Wednesday wisely. It's your launching pad for a strong finish to the week.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 161 of 2025- The Gentle Rhythm Of Tuesdays

 Hi Friends,

One of the things that I love about Tuesdays is that the day seems a little more manageable. You're not logging into work expecting a flood of emails, unless you were on vacation or took an extended weekend break, and you hopefully have your week mapped out, knowing what's coming up. You can just ease into the day and breathe a little easier.

There's something uniquely comfortable about Tuesday's position in the week. Tuesday exists in this sweet spot of productivity without urgency.

Tuesdays are fun, and for me, this Tuesday afternoon is a little bit of a lazy one. There's permission in that, permission to let the day unfold at its own pace, to remember that not every day needs to be a sprint toward productivity.

Perhaps that's Tuesday's greatest gift: it reminds us that life doesn't always have to feel urgent. Sometimes it can just feel manageable, one peaceful Tuesday at a time.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 160 of 2025- Making Monday's Work

 Hi Friends,

Mondays can be hard to start, go through, and you then breathe a sigh of relief when the day ends. It may be hard to always plan for things on Monday and get tasks done at work, but remember that every Monday is the start of a new week, like a mini New Year's Day, full of possibility.

If your Monday is feeling heavy, that's normal. Instead of fighting the feeling, acknowledge it and move forward anyway. You showed up, and that's what matters.

Remember: you're not just surviving the start of another week. You're creating the foundation for everything that follows.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 159 of 2025-Sunday Inspiration 🌞

 Hi Friends,

As the weekend winds down and a new week approaches, take a moment for yourself.

Here’s your Sunday Quote to reflect on:

“You will never be able to escape from your heart. So it's better to listen to what it has to say.”Paulo Coelho

Sundays are a perfect time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. Let your heart guide you into the week ahead with clarity, courage, and purpose. 💫

Day 158 of 2025- Saturday Morning

 Hi Friends

Saturday morning. The light feels softer, the pace slower.

It’s when the kitchen turns into a calm, creative space. Coffee brewing, something simple on the stove, maybe pancakes or eggs, nothing fancy, just intentional.

There’s comfort in the rhythm of it all. No rush. Just warmth, aroma, and the quiet joy of starting the weekend your own way.

Have a great weekend!

Day 157 of 2025- End Of Workweek

 Hi Friends,

Happy Friday. Still thinking about lability, the ease of change, and how it shows up in the kitchen.

Take an onion. Sharp and biting when raw, but with heat and time, it softens into something sweet and golden. Same ingredient, completely different outcome.

It’s a quiet reminder that change isn’t just possible. It can be transformative, even beautiful. Just like a good meal, it takes a little patience and the right conditions.

Day 156 of 2025- Word Of The Day

 Hi Friends,

Happy Almost Friday. Today I learned a new word, lability, meaning liability to change; ease of alteration.

What an interesting word. It made me think about cooking, how ingredients transform with heat, time, or technique. A sauce thickens, a spice blooms, a batter rises. Lability is at the heart of every great recipe: the magic of change.

Here’s to staying flexible in and out of the kitchen.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 155 of 2025- Daily Grocery Store Adventures

Hi Friends,

So as I have been writing a few posts about cooking and how much it is teaching me about life, I also realized how frequent my trips are to the grocery store! I find myself at the store every day and sometimes just looking around finding some inspiration to cook...

These daily grocery runs have become my creative time. Instead of rigid meal planning, I'm learning to cook intuitively, letting what's fresh and appealing guide my choices. It's liberating to shop without a strict list, trusting that inspiration will strike somewhere between the herb display and the cheese counter.

Sure, my grocery budget might prefer more planning, but there's joy in this spontaneous approach. Each trip becomes a mini adventure, and cooking becomes less about following recipes and more about responding to what calls to me in the moment.

Maybe the real ingredient I'm shopping for isn't vegetables or spices, it's curiosity.

Have a great Wednesday!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 154 of 2025- Cooking and Life Lessons

 Hi Friends,

I've really been into cooking lately, and while I do enjoy it, it's also teaching me a lot about life.

Interestingly, I came across this quote from Julia Child:

"This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook — try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun."

Just like in life—try, learn, be fearless, and find joy!

Day 153 of 2025- Monday Start

 Hi Friends,

It’s the first Monday of June and the start of a new workweek.

I’m grateful for what looks to be a quieter week and hopeful it stays that way. I’m also looking forward to what’s ahead and a fun weekend.

As I mentioned yesterday, the beginning of a new month or season can bring clarity to your priorities especially when you pay attention to your thoughts. For me, journaling has been a helpful tool to reflect and stay focused. Writing in a notebook helps me organize what I want to do.

Find what works best for you, and you’ll set yourself up for a great month, whatever the season.

Day 152 of 2025- June Reflection

 Hi Friends,

Let’s welcome June! I'm super excited that it's almost summer here, and I just love the hot weather.

As we step into June, what are some things you're thinking about? There’s probably a lot on your mind, so take today or tomorrow to sort out what you need to prioritize for yourself. As the season changes for many of you, think not just about this month, but also about what the next season might hold.

Learn to reflect on what you’re “thinking about” and use that to reach your goals. Always remember to take a moment every day to be thankful.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
