Day 234 of 2025-It's Friday

 Hi Friends,

Happy Friday! 🎉

The week may have been long, but today is a reminder that every finish line is worth celebrating. Even the small wins you achieved along the way add up to something bigger. Take a moment to acknowledge yourself for getting through, and step into the weekend with gratitude and energy.

Here’s to ending the week strong and starting the next one refreshed. ✨

What’s one win you’re celebrating this Friday?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 233 of 2025-The Task

 Hi Friends,

I was thinking about the one most productive thing I could do today to make the rest of my week feel easier. There was a work task I had been putting off for far too long, and today I finally completed it. The relief was instant. It reminded me that the things we avoid often take up more space in our minds than they do on our to-do lists.

Finishing that one task lifted a weight off my shoulders and gave me momentum for the rest of the day.

What’s the one thing you’ve been putting off that, if done today, would bring you a sense of relief?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 232 of 2025- Turning Point

 Hi Friends,

Yesterday I wrote about the possibility of another change with my job. It’s not something I want to happen, but it begins with acceptance of the situation.

Interestingly, I came across this quote today:

"Always fall in with what you're asked to accept. Take what is given, and make it over your way." – Robert Frost

What stood out to me is the reminder that acceptance doesn’t mean resignation. It means recognizing that even in situations we don’t choose, there’s an invitation to create something worthwhile. Life rarely moves in a straight line, and sometimes the detours end up leading us closer to where we’re meant to be.

Maybe this change is not just about a job. Maybe it’s about opening space for something I wouldn’t have considered otherwise. For now, I don’t have all the answers, but I’m learning to trust that every turn has its purpose even when I can’t see the full picture yet.

Hope you keep the space open even when you can't it right now.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 231 of 2025-Change Again

 Hi Friends,

This week, without really preparing for it, I realized something: I may need to change my day job before the year ends. Change is one of those constants in life we can’t avoid it, so the only option is to embrace it.

This time, though, it feels a little tougher. I’ve switched jobs a few times over the past few years, and I was hoping to settle down for a while. But here I am again, standing at the edge of another change.

Maybe things will work out, and I won’t have to make the move. But honestly, right now it feels like a 90% chance I will. So, the first step is acceptance.

Whatever you’re facing whether it’s a job change or something else start by accepting it. Let it sink in. Give yourself a little space to breathe. Then, take one small step forward. For me, that step is updating my résumé. After that, the next step will be applying to jobs that truly fit me. And from there, I’ll keep moving, one small step at a time.

As the saying goes: whatever will be, will be. All we can do is accept what’s in front of us and keep moving forward step by step.

Hope this helps!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 230 of 2025- A Different Start To The Week

 Hi Friends,

I’m going to start with something a little different this week, preparing myself for the possibility of a not-so-good day. Lately, I’ve been working with people whose temperaments can be all over the place, and I felt the impact of that last week. This time, knowing what I know, I want to get ahead of it and prepare myself mentally.

Here are a few things I’m focusing on:

  • Reminding myself that other people’s moods don’t define mine.

  • Choosing calm over reaction, even when tensions rise.

  • Taking small breaks to reset if I feel my own energy slipping.

  • Giving myself permission to step back instead of pushing through unnecessary conflict.

At the end of the day, I can’t control how others show up but I can control how I do. That shift in perspective is what helps me stay steady.

So as I move into the week, I’m choosing to protect my peace, focus on what I can influence, and let the rest go.

How about you, how do you prepare yourself for tough days?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 229 of 2025- Sunday Relaxation

 Hi Friends,

Sundays are meant for relaxation a reset and refocus day. I used to spend Sundays prepping for the week ahead: checking my meetings, reviewing my schedule, planning meals, and making sure everything was in order. But now, I want to use Sundays to truly reset and refocus. The planning can wait until Monday morning.

Not every day of the week needs to be productive, so let Sunday be your most “unproductive” day and just chill. What are some things you can do to relax? For me, it’s a walk in nature, it clears my head and helps me feel grounded.

Whatever it looks like for you, I hope you give yourself that space to breathe. Rest is not wasted time it’s what allows us to show up stronger for everything that follows.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 228 of 2025- Finish August Strong

 Hi Friends,

Here we are, already in mid-August. Crazy how fast the month is moving, right? This is such a good moment to pause, check in with yourself, and think about how you want the rest of the month to go.

A few questions to sit with:

  • What does finishing August strong look like for you?

  • Are there any little things you’d like to wrap up so they’re not hanging over you?

  • If you gave yourself one day just for you between now and the end of the month, what would you do with it?

Sometimes just taking a breath and asking these kinds of questions can shift how the rest of the month feels. I hope August is treating you well so far and that you finish it feeling proud, centered, and maybe even a little lighter.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 227 of 2025- Mid Month Review

 Hi Friends,

Happy End of Week. You made it. It’s been a rough one for me, but nevertheless, we are here.

It’s mid-August and time for a quick mid-month review. Here are some reflective questions:

  • What’s been hard this month?

  • What are you learning so far?

  • Name some things you are grateful for that happened.

  • What’s one thing you can let go of that’s not serving you?

  • What’s one small win you’re proud of?

Take a few minutes to sit with these questions. Write your answers down, or simply let them linger in your mind. The point isn’t to have perfect answers it’s to notice. Notice what’s challenging you, what’s shaping you, and what’s lifting you up.

Mid-month is a good checkpoint. It’s not too late to adjust course, and it’s always the right time to acknowledge the good that’s already here.

Here’s to finishing the month with intention.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 226 of 2025-What I learned Since Yesterday

 Hi Friends,

This week, I witnessed a manager whose skills made me wonder how some people end up in leadership roles. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, she was rude, and her way of speaking was anything but professional or encouraging.

I’ll be honest  I’m not particularly fond of managers in this department. There are far too many of them, and some don’t seem to fully understand the work they oversee. You can tell by the way they talk about it and the questions they ask. It makes me wonder: if they don’t truly get the work, how can they guide it?

So here’s my thought for today and I’d love to hear yours:
How are the managers you’ve worked with? Have you ever felt there were too many? And if so… what exactly were they doing?

Have a great Thursday!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 225 of 2025- Pausing

 Hi Friends,

I was in a meeting when the person in charge was being very direct but in a rude way, not in a constructive feedback way. While I heard what she was saying, I felt every ounce of me wanting to say things right then to her, but I have learned in my life that I hold the power of my words and that not every moment deserves an immediate response. Later, I came across this quote:

“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” – Maya Angelou.

It reminded me that while we can’t choose how others speak or behave, we can choose how we respond. We can either let negativity chip away at our confidence, or we can stand firm in our values and keep moving forward with dignity.

Sometimes, the real strength lies in not letting someone else’s poor delivery define our own state of mind. Choosing grace over reaction doesn’t mean ignoring the behavior it means protecting our peace, learning from the moment, and walking away with our self-respect intact.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 224 of 2025- Feeling More Energy

 Hi Friends,

Finally feeling a lot better today. It feels great to have more energy than I did over the last few days. It’s interesting how we often take that energy for granted when we’re not sick.

When you’re unwell, every ounce of strength feels precious, and the simplest tasks can seem like mountains to climb. But once you start to recover, there’s a renewed sense of gratitude for even the smallest bursts of vitality. Today is a reminder to appreciate those “ordinary” days when we can move, think, and live freely because they’re not ordinary at all.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 223 of 2025- Pacing Myself

 Hi Friends,

As we start the workweek and I am still recovering, my work and other duties do not stop. It’s like there is no rest.

So how do I manage all of this? Firstly, by keeping myself hydrated and nourished as best I can. Second, by taking things one minute at a time and not pushing beyond my limits. Third, by getting help where I need it and letting go of the need to do everything myself.

It’s not easy to slow down when life keeps moving, but sometimes the only way forward is to pace yourself. Recovery takes patience, and so does balancing responsibilities when you’re not at your best. This week, I’m choosing to focus on what’s truly essential and to give myself the grace to heal.

If you’re also under the weather, maybe it’s worth asking yourself:

  • What can I let go of this week to give myself more space to recover?

  • Who can I reach out to for help so I’m not carrying everything alone?

  • Am I listening to my body or trying to power through at the expense of my health?

  • What small actions like drinking water, eating nourishing meals, or resting can I take today that will make tomorrow easier?

Sometimes, those small choices make all the difference in how quickly and fully we bounce back.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 222 of 2025- Without Health

 Hi Friends,

One of the things I am learning, even while still being under the weather, is that if your health is not good, nothing else goes well.

Your focus slips, your energy drops, and even simple tasks feel like climbing a mountain.

It’s a reminder that health isn’t something to take for granted or push to the bottom of the priority list. Work, goals, and responsibilities can wait your body can’t. Taking the time to rest and recover isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s what allows you to show up fully when you’re back on your feet.

Here's to getting better.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 221 of 2025- Still Under Weather

 Hi Friends,

Woke up feeling worse today. That’s okay with rest, decent food, and plenty of hydration, I’ll be back to normal soon.

I skipped my walk and the gym, kept it low-key, had my coffee, and stayed on the couch. My comfort combo: a hot cup of tea and unapologetic naps.

What are your go-to comforts when you’re under the weather?

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 220 of 2025- Friday Reset

 Hi Friends,

Interestingly, I woke up this morning feeling under the weather. It’s unusual for me to get sick in the summer, but I may have picked up a bug or just overdid it especially after a few days of meetings where the preparer wasn’t prepared and a lot of my time was wasted.

Jokes aside, it’s a clear signal to slow down today and likely through the weekend: hydrate, rest, and let my body recover. What are your go-to steps when you need to feel better?

Have a good Friday!

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 219 of 2025- Pre Meeting Doc Review

 Hi Friends,

Another meeting today that was a waste of time. We all showed up with the docs we’d submitted, ready to dive in, but the presenter hadn’t even glanced at them. She spent the first fifteen minutes scrambling for context, skipped over the important points, and left us all sitting around wondering what was next.

Lesson leaders need to learn: be more proactive about checking in with presenters beforehand and making sure they’ve reviewed the materials. That simple step can save us from awkward delays and keep our discussions moving. Let’s all do our part so our meetings actually deliver.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 218 of 2025-Improving Meeting Preparation

 Hi Friends,

As leaders of our own work and lives, preparation isn’t optional it’s essential. Today’s meeting reminded me why. The organizer hadn’t reviewed the agenda or the documents we’d agreed to discuss. When we finally convened, she fumbled for the file, kept us waiting, and then proceeded to call on each attendee one by one despite not having the information at her fingertips. By the time it was my turn to speak, thirty minutes had passed, and my valuable time had been lost.

I believe that respect for others’ time begins with being fully prepared. Before every meeting, I review the materials, confirm that I have the correct files, and arrive ready to contribute. When anyone shows up unprepared, it not only derails productivity but also signals a lack of consideration for colleagues who have set aside their schedules.

Preparation isn’t just about checking boxes; it’s a demonstration of leadership. When we take the time to prepare in advance, we foster efficient discussions, drive meaningful outcomes, and inspire confidence in our teams. Let this be a reminder: do the work ahead of time, arrive ready, and elevate every meeting to the standard of excellence we all deserve.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 217 of 2025- Motivation For Today

 Hi Friends,

Here is your motivation for today:

"Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest.”- Mark Twain

When you choose the right action for its own sake, you unlock unstoppable momentum. Integrity gives you focus, fuels confidence, and makes your example magnetic. Some will cheer you on. Others will be amazed that you stand firm.

Here’s how to make doing right your instinct:

  1. Define a Personal Code
Identify three values you refuse to compromise honesty, generosity, accountability. Write them down and review them every morning.

  2. Pause and Decide
When a choice arises, take a breath, name the right action, and commit out loud or jot it down. Use the mantra “What’s right over what’s easy.”

  3. Reflect Daily
Each night, note one decision that honored your code, one that didn’t, and how you’ll strengthen tomorrow.

Integrity isn’t a one-time event. It’s a daily decision that shapes your destiny. Commit right now to one tough choice and watch how you gratify those who know you and astonish everyone else.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 216 of 2025- Taking Breaks At Work

 Hi Friends,

I know how it feels when you’re staring at your screen and the deadlines just keep piling up. Your back is stiff, your mind is foggy, and every ping of your inbox feels like a punch to the gut. That’s exactly when you need to stand up and move even if it’s just a quick loop to the water cooler or a lap around the hall.

Here’s why those tiny steps make a huge difference:

  1. Mind Reset
Moving breaks the cycle of stress and helps ideas flow more freely when you sit back down.

  2. Body Relief
A short stretch gets blood circulating again, eases tight shoulders, and banishes that nagging neck ache.

  3. Mood Lift
A change of scenery, a friendly nod from a coworker, or just the buzz of the office reminds you there’s more to your day than this one task.

  4. Creative Spark
Some of my best “aha” moments have come mid-stride, not while glued to my desk.

Try this today: set a silent alarm for every hour. When it goes off, get up and walk no overthinking, no marathon, just a few steps. You might be surprised how those small breaks can unwind stress and keep your energy up all day long.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 215 of 2025- Listening To Your Tired Self

 Hi Friends,

Ever wake up on a Sunday morning feeling like every piece of you hurts? I did today, and the weight of exhaustion was real.

So if you’re feeling worn down too, just pause. Breathe. Let yourself rest without apology. Do only what your spirit whispers is necessary, and nothing more. Energy returns, always, like the tide coming back to shore. For now, may you give yourself the grace of stillness and the kindness of your own soft care.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 214 of 2025- August Challenge

 Hi Friends,

August is here. A fresh month, a blank page, a chance to begin again. Progress this month won’t always look like progress. Most of the time, it will feel ordinary. You’ll do the small thing. You’ll take the next step. You’ll show up one more time.

That’s where real change hides not in the big leap, but in the quiet practice of moving forward, day after day.

This August, think less about doing something grand and more about staying consistent. Choose one thing that feels challenging but worthwhile, and commit to showing up for it every single day.

Remember, challenge isn’t a sign you’re failing it’s proof you’re stretching.

And every time you lean into that stretch, you build a little more strength, a little more resilience, and a little more confidence in your ability to keep going.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Day 213 of 2025- Happy August

 Hi Friends,

Happy August! I love the start of a new month. It feels like a blank page where you get to decide what comes next. So here’s the question: what will you choose to do this month?

Maybe you’ll try something small that scares you a little waking up early, starting a tough conversation, or following a new idea. Think of August as a fresh chance to begin again, one day at a time.

Pay attention to the little wins: showing up even when it’s hard, learning from mistakes, and finding strength you didn’t know you had. Use these days to stay curious, set a simple goal, and see where it takes you.

Here’s to August let’s keep it real, keep it simple, and make it count for you.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
