Day 305 of 2025- A New Month

 Hi Friends,

Welcome to November, friend. The eleventh month. A new beginning. A blank page waiting for your story.

There's something almost magical about the first day of a new month, isn't there? It's like the universe is handing us a reset button, a chance to shed what didn't serve us and step into what could be. And November with its falling leaves and cooling air carries a special kind of energy. It whispers of gratitude, of slowing down, of gathering warmth before the year comes to a close.

"Why can't I try on different lives, like dresses, to see which fits best and is most becoming?" — Sylvia Plath

These words capture something powerful about where we are right now. With two months left in the year, November is the perfect time to experiment, to try things on, to see what feels right. October's words, October's struggles, October's victories they belong to October. Today, you get to explore. To test. To discover what fits.

So what do you want to try on this month?

Maybe November is your month to experiment with gratitude really leaning into thankfulness as we approach Thanksgiving. Maybe it's about testing out a new routine, a different approach to your goals, a fresh way of thinking about what finishing strong actually means for you. Or perhaps it's about trying on the life of someone who rests more, who says no more often, who prioritizes joy over productivity.

Here's the beautiful truth: with only two months left in 2025, November is your dress rehearsal for the person you want to be.

Think about it. You have sixty days to play, to explore, to see what feels authentic. Want to try being more creative? Give yourself November to experiment. Curious about what it would feel like to be more connected to the people you love? Try it on. Wondering if you could be someone who takes better care of themselves? This is your chance.

The end of the year doesn't have to be about grinding harder or forcing yourself into some predetermined mold of "success." What if instead, it's about discovery? About giving yourself permission to try different versions of your life and seeing which one makes you feel most alive, most like yourself?

New beginnings don't require grand gestures or perfect plans. They just require willingness. A willingness to try. Here are some "lives" you might try on this November:

  • The life of someone who moves their body joyfully, not punishingly
  • The life of someone who creates something just for the pleasure of creating
  • The life of someone who reaches out to old friends instead of scrolling
  • The life of someone who ends their day with gratitude instead of worry
  • The life of someone who tries that thing they've been curious about

The beauty is, you don't have to commit forever. You're just trying it on. Seeing how it feels. Noticing what fits and what doesn't. Some things you'll love and keep. Others you'll set aside, and that's perfectly okay. The point isn't to get it right—it's to explore, to discover, to learn what makes you feel most like the person you're becoming.

The beauty of November 1st is that it meets you wherever you are. Tired? That's okay begin from there. Energized? Beautiful channel that. Uncertain? Perfect there's power in not knowing, in being open to what unfolds.

This month, I encourage you to be curious and brave. Try on different ways of being. Experiment with what "finishing the year strong" means to you because strong doesn't have to mean hustle. It can mean whole. It can mean honest. It can mean aligned with who you truly are.

Remember: Sylvia Plath was right. You can try on different lives. November is your fitting room, and the final two months of 2025 are your chance to walk out wearing whatever feels most becoming, most authentic, most you.

Remember: every ending holds a new beginning, and every beginning is a gift. You're holding that gift right now, on this first day of November. Thirty days stretch out before you, full of potential, full of possibility.

The final two months of 2025 are here. Let's make them count not by doing everything, but by doing what matters. Not by being perfect, but by being present.

Here's to new beginnings, to fresh starts, to the courage it takes to keep showing up for yourself.

Have a beautiful November filled with intention, grace, and maybe just a little bit of magic.

Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!

Peace

Monita
