Hi Friends,
After all the searching, comparing, debating, and “sleeping on it,” today was the day, I finally bought the Christmas tree. It’s funny how something as simple as picking out a tree can feel like a whole journey, but it really was. Yesterday’s excitement carried into the morning, and now the tree is officially home.
Except… it’s still in the box.
I told myself I’d wait a few more days before setting it up and give myself time, keep the living room clear a little longer, avoid the glitter explosion that always ends up everywhere. But now that the box is sitting in the corner, I can’t stop staring at it. It’s like it’s quietly calling out, hinting at the magic it’s ready to bring the moment I open it.
There’s something kind of special about this in-between moment. The anticipation. The calm before the sparkle. Knowing the cozy glow, the lights, and the ornaments are all just waiting for me inside that cardboard box.
For now, I’m just enjoying the quiet excitement of having it here, my future Christmas tree, patiently waiting to transform the room. And honestly? I’m already smiling every time I walk past it.
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
