Hi Friends,
It's Sunday. You know what that means?
Absolutely nothing. And also everything.
Because Sundays are wild like that. They're the day that refuses to be defined. The day that's somehow lazy and productive, restful and energizing, slow and suddenly over before you know it.
Sundays are the universe's way of saying: "Do whatever you want. Seriously. I'm not watching."
So here's your Sunday permission slip (not that you needed one, but here it is anyway):
You are allowed to:
- Wear pajamas until 2 PM and feel zero guilt about it
- Start a project you'll definitely abandon by Tuesday
- Eat breakfast food for dinner (or dinner food for breakfast—chaos is allowed)
- Take a nap just because the couch looked at you the right way
- Finally finish that book/show/puzzle you started in July
- Do absolutely nothing and call it "recharging"
- Do absolutely everything and call it "productive rest"
- Change your mind seventeen times about what you want to do
Because here's the Sunday secret nobody tells you: you don't have to optimize this day.
You don't have to meal prep. You don't have to "Sunday reset." You don't have to set yourself up for a perfect week ahead.
You can if you want to. But you can also just... be.
Messy. Unscheduled. Spontaneous. Gloriously inefficient.
These final 90 days of the year? They need Sundays like this. Days where you remember that life isn't just about the sprint to December 31st. It's also about pancakes at 3 PM and staying in your favorite spot on the couch because it's perfectly worn in.
So today, do whatever makes you smile. Whatever makes you exhale. Whatever makes you think, "Yeah, this is nice."
No rules. No shoulds. Just you and Sunday, figuring it out together.
Here's to doing nothing important and enjoying every minute of it. 🧡
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
