Hi Friends,
Yesterday we reflected on Maya Angelou's wisdom about change and attitude. Today, it's time to put it into practice.
As Monday begins, you're likely facing situations that fall into one of two categories: things you can change and things you cannot. The week ahead will be shaped by how you respond to each.
For what you can change: Stop waiting for the perfect moment. Pick one thing, just one that's been bothering you and take the smallest possible action today. Update that resume. Send that text. Take that first step. Action creates momentum, and momentum creates transformation.
For what you cannot change: Notice where you're fighting reality. That colleague's behavior you can't control. The weather disrupting your plans. The past decision you can't undo. What if you stopped resisting and started adapting instead? Your peace doesn't require perfect circumstances it requires releasing the grip on what was never yours to control.
This week's practice: Keep it simple. Each morning, identify one thing to change and one thing to accept. By Friday, you'll have taken five actions and released five resistances. That's not a small shift, that's a different way of moving through the world.
The difference between a draining week and an empowering one often comes down to this: recognizing where your power actually lies.
You've got this. Make it a week of intentional choices.
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
