Hi Friends,
It's Wednesday. The week's halfway point. The day we've collectively decided to celebrate the fact that we've simply made it through two other days and have two more to go before we can pretend we're not thinking about work for 48 hours.
There's something oddly motivating about Wednesday, though. It's the psychological turning point where the week shifts from "this is going to be a long week" to "I can see the finish line." Monday hits you like a freight train. Tuesday is just Monday's annoying little sibling. But Wednesday? Wednesday is when you finally find your rhythm. You're caffeinated enough to be functional but not yet running on spite and cold brew alone.
The truth is, Hump Day exists because we need these arbitrary milestones to break up the monotony of modern work life. We've gamified the calendar, turning Wednesday into a mini-celebration of survival. And honestly? That's fine. If acknowledging that we're halfway through helps us push through the rest of the week with slightly less existential dread, then let's hear it for Wednesday.
So here we are. Midweek. You've made it this far, which means you can make it two more days. The weekend is coming, your inbox will still be there tomorrow, and Wednesday is doing exactly what it's supposed to do reminding you that progress, even slow progress, still counts.
Wishing you peace and happiness from my heart to yours!
Peace
Monita
